Working at Muktuk Adventures will be one of the best experiences in your life! If you love dogs

and the nature you’ll love it here!

 

As a volunteer/staff at Muktuk you live together with the other staff in one of the two staff cabins. You’ll live and work with a great team of people that have lots of fun together!  The cabins have

no electricity which is one of Muktuk ways of “Off the Grid Living”. You all eat in the main lodge together with the Turner family.

 

Depending on where you work your day starts at 7.00am or 8.00am Monday to Saturday and 9.00am on Sundays. The working day normally stretches to 6.00pm which can seem long but

there are always opportunities to have breaks and personal time throughout the day. Your

tasks vary from where you work, which season it is and how many customers are coming that day.

 

 

The different areas you can work/volunteer in are:

You will always have lots of time to spend with the dogs. Just cuddle or take them for a walk, brush them or play with the puppies!

You have one and a half day off every week and there’s lots of things to do! Catch a ride in to town and go shopping or to the sport center. You can also go hiking and there’s hot springs and a wildlife park close to the site. The nature around Muktuk is beautiful and the Takhini River is right by the main lodge!
